Day 51: Deload Pushups

10 rounds. 3 pushups every :30

Some people stay on their knees for these. Some people try to stay in the plank the entire time. All just different approaches.

Time Domain

  • 3 Rounds - you will be performing 11 reps per round

    • Start the clock

    • Execute 3 pushups at whatever level you choose

    • Rest for an entire the remainder of :30

    • Start again at :30

    • Perform swiftly, but properly.

    • Work sets: 00:00, 00:30, 01:00, 01:30, 02:00, 02:30, 03:00, 03:30, 04:00, 04:30

Workout Level Suggestions

  • Level 1, 2, & 3: All levels perform 3 pushups

    • Level 1: Knees

    • Level 2: Traditional

    • Level 3: Hand-release

Coaches Plan

I plan to stay on the ground the entire 5:00 to maximize the rest, and increase the likelihood of speedier level 2 traditional pushups.
