Starting a Streak

It recently occurred to me that in an effort to get used to running very long distances, many times as back-to-back-to-back days, I had better become comfortable with running every single day.

Running needs to be as common to my day as eating

Tired? Who cares, run. Not feeling it? Run. Better, more fun things to do? suck it up, buttercup, and run.

Inspired by a fellow runner, I decided to begin a "streak." A streak is an act of simply covering at least one mile of distance every single day. The goal is always to do more than one mile, of course, but even days where I am recovering from a brutal race or workout, or I am somehow sick or injured, I must cover that one mile. One can always cover one mile even if they must walk ...or, even crawl.
